The commission I was working on is done and dusted, so I thought I’d share a few images, its Swan Lake. I enjoyed making the piece but boy was it fiddly, the front trees are wire then paper mache. I’m loving little lights on my work at the moment, it makes them atmospheric. Hope you like it, would love to hear your comments.

I had a lovely idea from Barbara the other week, French lieutenant’s woman, brilliant idea, and I haven’t had a chance to thank her yet so big thank you Barbara, something I’m going to look forward to doing.

I’m working on more figures at the moment and am really enjoying doing them. I’m trying to put more detail in the form of the figure and at the same time keeping the piece quite simple. Finding the sort of poses I like, is quite difficult so I’m going to get my willowy friend to model for me so I can take lots of drawings of her and use them for the figurines. Good excuse to do a load of gesture drawings as well.
