Word Search – A Series of Small Assemblage Dresses

The nights are drawing in.  I love this time of year, I can curl up on my sofa with all my bits around me, making these very simple white dresses that remind me of snowy winters.

(Where we live we hardly get any snow so I must let my imagination run away with me.  But the new Richard Attenborough series – Frozen Planet help.  Amazing photography, really recommend it.  If you can, you might be able to see it on the BBC iPlayer for the next 30 days, click here – Frozen Planet on iPlayer )

Anyway back to the point of this post.  The little dresses are gorgeously white, made from soft white cotton with little pearly buttons and as usual book papers are used to form the bodice.

Each dress is enbrodered with words such as “cherish”, “joy”, “love”, “kindness” etc.  Words to warm the heart for the chilly winter ahead.  Hope the images come across cozy : )

Tom says we do get snow,so to keep him quiet here are some photos he took last winter.
